Truly epic adventure biking in the Manang region of Nepal. The roads are mostly gravel or dirt tracks with loads of fun to be had riding here, the roads are spectacular; carved into the hillsides with rushing rivers in the valley below. All the unbelievable scenery, and the fact that you get taken right into the mountains, makes this one of our most appealing tours. The HondaCRF250Ls are in their prime here. Day 1 Kathmandu

Free day for arrivals

Usually flights are overnight so you should allow an extra day for the journey to Kathmandu. Once you arrive at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport we will pick you up directly from the airport transfer you to your 5* hotel. There will be the opportunity for exploration of the ancient city in your own time this day depending on your time of arrival.

Day 2 Nuwakot (approx. 80km) 4hrs riding time approx.

Today there will be familiarisation with the bikes in Kathmandu before riding out of the valley on a varied mix of mountain roads, paved, unpaved, gravel and sand as we head over hill passes and through tropical valleys to Nuwakot Durbar, a historic palace used by the late King Pritivi Narayan Shah.

Day 3 Gorkha (approx. 130km) 6hrs riding time approx.

Riding on a mixture of highways, sandy tracks and dirt tracks today, besides the river which flows from the East side of Mount Manaslu (26,759ft). After a bit more jeep track we’ll come back to tarmac roads to take us to the historic town of Gorkha, home of the fierce Gurkha warriors.

Day 4 Jagat 111km (6hrs riding time approx.)

We head down to the main highway today for a short time then we take the exit and head north into the middle hills slightly west of Gorkha. We reach Jagat on beautiful jeep tracks cut dramatically into the hillside with the sound of the rushing river below us.

Day 5 Manang 63km ( 3.5hrs riding time approx.)

Heading further north today on more jeep tracks which after sometime reach a plateau and we ride along towards Manang with stunning mountains surrounding you. The beautiful snows of Mt. Annapurna II and III can be seen today as well Pisang Peak and Chulu East.

Day 6 Manang 

We take a day to explore the jeep tracks around Manang, seeing how far the road can take us into the mountains, reaching Khangsar a town where the archery festival takes place every year. Manangies are famous for archery and are well known traders in Nepal. There is also a beautiful glacial lake situated nearby where you can enjoy a glass of Seabuck Thorn Juice and look up in wonder at the huge glacier at Gangapurna.

Day 7 Kurintar 166km (7.5hrs approx.)

Heading back down to the main highway today we reach Kurintar and stay at the beautiful resort besides the Trishuli river reachable only by suspension bridge.

Day 8 Kathmandu 104km (4hrs approx.)

Last day of riding we will be on the main highway which is chaotic, dusty, busy and entering Kathmandu it gets busier and more chaotic!

Day 9 Departure

Time to say farewell to Nepal and your guides. We will drop you back to the international airport in time for your onward flight
