The Alaska & Canada Adventure
On the spectacular “Alaska & Canada Adventure» tour we ride through the heart of Alaska and the rugged Canadian Rockies with abundant wildlife. The tour starts in Anchorage and rides through spectacular scenery and wonderful roads (e.g. the legendary Alaska Highway).
On our way to Seattle, this tour will give you a close-up experience of rolling foothills, endless northern forests, rugged mountains, breathtaking views, and wildlife glimpses (e.g. bear, bison, moose), while enjoying your ride on some of the best motorcycle roads North America has to offer (especially Jasper – Banff, Iceland Hwy). We visit several known sites from the famous historic Klondike Gold Rush and ride through Central Alberta, British Columbia, and Glacier National Park. This is a tour that should be on everyone’s bucket list!

Day 1: Departure - Arrival Anchorage, Alaska
Welcome to beautiful Anchorage; home of Alaska. Visiting downtown, you might run into some wildlife (if you are lucky). We recommend visiting the popular waterfront, the Alaska Railroad or the Wildlife Conservation Center, or a local brewery.
Day 2: Anchorage - Glennallen, Ak
(Driving day 1: 289 km/179 miles)
We begin our magical Alaska & Canada Adventure tour! When everyone is ready on their bikes, we embark on our 4.600 km (2.900 miles) long journey in the beautiful, rugged Alaska homeland, Klondike Gold Rush territory, Canadian Rockies & National Parks. Anchorage disappears behind us as we head south for a unique adventure full of lifetime memories & fun.
Today we will enjoy a spectacular ride along the Glenn Highway and Matanuska River. You will also get close-up views of the breathtaking Matanuska Glacier. Hold your camera ready!
Day 3: Glennallen - Beaver Creek, Yukon, Canada
(Driving day 2: 399 km/249 miles)
This will be another riding day for the history books. We finish our ride on the Glenallen Hwy when we reach Tok before we start our adventure on the famous Alaska highway. We ride/pass through Wrangell St. Elias National Park/Preserve with breathtaking views and spectacular scenery. At the end of the day, we cross the border to Canada and our end stop Beaver Creek. We are now in the famous Yukon Gold Rush territory.
Day 4: Beaver Creek - Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada

We continue our magical ride on the Alaska Hwy. With the Wrangell-St Elias Mountains in the background, we head south, making a stop at the breathtaking Kluane lake. Our next stop is Haines Junction, the gateway to Kluane National Park. After having absorbed these spectacular views, we head to Whitehorse; the capital of northwest Canada’s Yukon “Gold Rush” territory.
Day 5: Whitehorse - Watson Lake, Canada
(Driving day 4: 438 km/272 miles)
We continue south east on the spectacular Alaska Hwy. It will be a beautiful ride passing Marsh & Teslin Lake. When we reach Watson Lake, we will visit the extraordinary Signpost Forest, which is a collection of road signs originally initiated by a homesick US Army GI. Another day to capture lifetime memories!
Day 6: Watson Lake - Muncho Lake, Canada
(Driving day 5: 274 km/171 miles)
It will be another spectacular day on the Alaska Hwy, as we head south to picturesque Muncho Lake, a highlight and “must stop” for everyone who rides the Alaska Hwy. Also, today will usually be a good opportunity for spotting wildlife. Hold your cameras ready!
Day 7: Muncho Lake - Fort Nelson, Bc, Canada

We leave breathtaking Muncho Lake on the Alaska Hwy and head towards Fort Nelson. It will be another spectacular riding day in the picturesque scenery.
Day 8: Fort Nelson - Dawson Creek, Yukon, Canada
(Driving day 7: 453 km/282 miles)
Today we ride the final leg of the beautiful Alaska Hwy, as we head south towards Dawson Creek. On our way we will ride across the historical Kiskatinaw Bridge (531 ft), which is the only original bridge still in use on the Alaska Hwy. Dawson Creek is also known as the “Mile 0 City”, referring to its location at the southern end of the Alaska Highway. We spend a fun night in Dawson Creek, celebrating our completion of the famous Alaska Hwy.
Day 9: Dawson Creek - Jasper, Ab, Canada

Today we will ride several more spectacular roads; Hwy 40 & 43, as we head south towards Jasper. When we reach Entrance, we will turn into Yellowhead Hwy, which will take us on the breathtaking drive in Jasper National Park and to the great mountain village of Jasper, Alberta. Jasper holds a special place in our hearts as it marks the beginning of Canada’s amazing Route 93, or Icefield Highway, that runs from Jasper to the breathtaking lakeside village of Lake Louise, Alberta.
Day 10: Jasper - Banff, Alberta, Canada

Get ready for a highway ride that we definitely rank among the top ten motorcycle rides in North America. Canada’s Highway 93 (Iceland Highway), also known as the Banff – Jasper Highway, takes us along glacial peaks and across some of Canada’s most stunning ice fields. Today promises to be one of the great riding days of your life, guaranteed! Tonight we enjoy the vibrant Rocky Mountain village of Banff, Alberta, known for friendly people, good food, and great nightlife.
Day 11: Banff, Alberta, Canada
(Explorer & fun day)
A day to do two tours, one by gondola to the mountain top (optional) and another by bike to the Lake Minnewanka and then walk a bit through Banff, this charming town of the Canadian Rockies.
Day 12: Banff - Kamloops, Bc, Canada
(Driving day 10: 288 km/179 miles)
Today will be another day for the history books! We will ride on spectacular roads through breathtaking scenery. We start our ride on the famous Hwy 1 through Banff and Yoho National Park before we ride through the amazing vistas of Glacier National Park. Glacier, the nation’s 10th National Park, known for its deep glacial valleys and rugged peaks. For motorcycle enthusiasts, it is simply an assault on the senses and offers some excellent riding terrain. We continue to Mt Revelstoke Nat Park and curvy roads to the beautiful city of Kamloops.
Day 13: Kamloops - Osoyoos, Bc, Canada
(Driving day 11: 288 km/190 miles)
We leave the mountains and head for Canada’s wine country. We head south for a beautiful ride on Hwy 97 winding through picturesque wine yards and along famous Okanagan Lake. Our end stop is Osoyoos, where will enjoy a nice evening with local produce.
Day 14: Osoyoos - Seattle, Wa
(Driving day 12: 439 km/274 miles)
Our Alaska & Canadian fairytale is approaching an end as we embark on our last tour day. We cross the US border and continue enjoying our ride on Hwy 97 South before we turn into Hwy 2 to ride through the spectacularly beautiful Okanogan-Wenatchee National park.
Thereafter, we head straight to Seattle, where we return the bikes, take off our boots and replace driving gear with light summer clothing. We spend the afternoon in the vicinity of the hotel, where we also have a farewell dinner together and get ready for the journey home.
Day 15: Departure Seattle - Home travel
We say goodbye to Alaska & Canadian Adventures and return home. Group travel by shuttle to the airport.
