Welcome to an amazing 14-day tour in the majestic Himalayas. On this spectacular tour, you will discover the proud Himalayas on a Royal Enfield Motorcycle.

Ride the old highways of Nepal and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest as well as stay at Jungle lodges. Complete a diverse circuit of Nepal featuring major tourist attractions and lesser-known hilltop vantage points. On this trip you can see 9 of the 8000m+ peaks: Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Shishapangma, Manaslu, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Come prepared for a challenging ride that will introduce you to the wonders of Nepal, lead by expert local guides who understand the roads and provide you with the confidence needed to ride them.

On this trip you can see 9 of the 8000m+ peaks: Mt. Everest (8848m) Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Shishapangma, Manaslu, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.

  • Jungle Safari in a jeep/on foot/boat ride/elephant ride in Chitwan National Park, home to the Royal Bengal Tiger, One-Horned Rhino and Mugger Crocodile.
  • The ancient city of Kathmandu, the yogic center of the world.
  • The laid-back tourist town of Pokhara and tranquil waters of Lake Fewa.

Please note this tour rides in high altitudes and some outskirt areas, where we will stay in local lodges. Please bring clothing for both warm & cold temperatures.

Day 1: Departure - Arrival Kathmandu, Nepal (1400m)

Welcome to Nepal!

Once you arrive at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport we will pick you up directly from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Amidst all the chaos lies ancient stories of warriors, rivaling dynasties and great spiritual masters. This legendary capital city is home to an eclectic mix of people, shops, restaurants, temples, stupas, myths and legends! Remember usually flights are overnight so you should allow an extra day for the journey to Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Nagarkot (2195m)

Riding mixed terrain for familiarisation with the bikes and Nepali riding style. We make our way through the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu to Nagarkot. Nagarkot sits on the Kathmandu valley rim and has stunning views of Kathmandu valley on one side and panoramic views of the Himalayas the other.

Day 3: Nagarkot - Charikot (2500m)

It’s an early start today, especially if you want to get up (and you should!) for the sunrise over the Himalayas. There will be a combination of broken sections and tarmac roads today. Arriving at Charikot where views of Mount Gauri Shankar can be had along with the mountains over in Tibet.

Day 4: Charikot - Mulkot (400m)

Today you head down to the Tama Kosi River along many switchbacks we descend into the hot river valley. Today is a short day with mostly tarmac riding. The Tama Kosi River joins up to the Sun Kosi River which we’ll stay beside tonight – fall asleep listening to the sound of the rushing river.

Day 5: Mulkot - Pattale (2900m)

Day 6: Pattale/Phaplu (2400m)

Today we have an optional visit to an autonomous Tibetan monastery situated about 60km away, half the distance is unpaved.

Day 7: Pattale - Bardibas

Retracing our route part of the way down we head towards the flatlands of the Terai. Today you’ll cover many climatic zones; Sub-Alpine, Alpine and Sub-Tropical and Tropical. We ride through Sindhuli and from here the roads will flatten out as we head into the Terai.

Day 8: Bardibas - Chitwan

Today we ride mostly on a straight, flat, busy highway running East-West along the length of Nepal near to the Indian border. We’ll be travelling in the heat along with many others sharing the highway. Traffic will not be limited to just cars and buses but may also feature water buffaloes, cows, people, bullock carts and elephants. We’ll arrive in the late afternoon at the Jungle Lodge situated on the border of Chitwan National Park.

Day 9: Jungle Safari

Wake up to the sounds of the jungle, as this morning we take you on safari…

If you’re lucky some of the wildlife may include the Greater One-horned rhino, the Royal Bengal tiger, leopards, spotted deer, wild dogs, sloth bears and jackals. The water bodies afford the patient visitor glimpses of the prehistoric-looking Mugger crocodile as well as the long-snouted Gharial crocodile basking on the banks of the river.

There are options for Safari where you can choose to go by Jeep, by Foot or the traditional way on Elephant Back.

Day 10: Chitwan - Pokhara

Today we ride northwest by the Trishuli river where on clear days there are stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range from the highway. Entering the tourist town of Pokhara, there are stunning views of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Fishtail.

Day 11: Pokhara

Today is a free day in Pokhara. Pokhara is Nepal’s home of adventure sports, so you could take the opportunity to go Paragliding, white water rafting, or for the really adventurous bungee jump off a suspension bridge.

Day 12: Pokhara - Kathmandu

Ride back to Kathmandu on the main highway connecting Pokhara to the capital.

Day 13: Kathmandu

Sightseeing and Souvenir Hunting.

Day 14: Departure Kathmandu - Home travel

You will be transferred back to the airport in time for your onward flight. Time to say farewell to Nepal, before your next visit! We wish you a safe trip home and hope to see you again on one of our other tours in the US, South America, Asia, Oceania, or Europe.
